Dual-monitor docking stations are used by many APU employees in order to connect their laptops to multiple monitors and accessories. Docking Stations are purchased through the Equipment Request Form located on our IT Forms page! If you run into any issues with your docking station such as monitors not displaying correctly, monitors disconnecting, etc., please download the DisplayLink Drivers using the instructions below.

DisplayLink Drivers (Required for DisplayLink Docking Stations)

1) Go to synaptics.com/products/displaylink-graphics/downloads

2) Scroll down to "Download DisplayLink Drivers"

3) Select your device (macOS, Windows, etc.)

4) Scroll down to "Latest Official Drivers" and hit the blue "Download" button

5) Accept the Software License Agreement and let the drivers download

6) Open the file after it has finished downloading

7) Follow the on screen prompts

8) Hit Finish

9) The drivers should now be installed!

If you are on a Mac and have already installed the drivers, you may just need to click on the DisplayLink Icon in your top menu bar. The button typically looks like   and once clicked, should enable DisplayLink Manager.
