Windows Updates

To update your Windows Operating System:

1. Click the Start button in the lower-left corner. Begin typing Windows Update. As you type, selection options will begin to appear.
2. Select Check for updates from the menu then wait while Windows looks for the latest updates for your computer.
3. Select the checkboxes for specific updates and then click OK.
4. Install updates.

Note: It is important that you do not shut your computer off or allow it to run out of battery during the update process. Doing so can cause a corruption of the operating system, which can often only be fixed by reformatting the computer.
