APU Issued Computer Repairs

Description of Service

IT provides service for all APU-Issued computers. This may include on-site repairs by an IT employee or a contracted external repair person. IT, in some situations, may need to take the equipment to a repair center or send it off-campus for repair.

*Note: Computers that are purchased outside of IT's policies such as personal computers are not eligible for support.

Requesting Service

Staff and faculty may request service by contacting us at [email protected] or by visiting our Office located on East Campus in Building 5 near Parking Lot C.


Customer Responsibilities

Staff and faculty should backup the data on their computer. Staff and faculty should take reasonable steps to protect their computer from accidental damage, and/or theft. If a computer is lost or stolen, please contact the IT Support Center and Campus Safety as soon as possible. In the case of theft, a police report is necessary. Other damage or problems with the computer should be reported to the IT Support Center as soon as possible.
