Connecting your Windows computer to APUWIFI

If you are trying to connect personal devices to Wi-Fi at the Azusa, San Diego, Inland Empire, Murrieta, or Monrovia campuses, please see our article regarding the APU-BYOD Wi-Fi Network.

If you are trying to connect an APU-Issued device to Wi-Fi at the Azusa, San Diego, Inland Empire, Murrieta, or Monrovia campuses, please see our article regarding the APU-Enterprise Wi-Fi Network.

1) Go to the Wi-Fi symbol in the bottom right hand corner of your screen (a globe icon may be displayed instead).

2) Click on the Wi-Fi or Globe symbol

3) Select “APUWIFI” from the list

4) Hit “Connect," and select the “Connect automatically” checkbox

5) A “Windows Security” Network Authentication dialogue box will pop up and prompt you to enter your username and password. Your username is your APU Net ID (APU Email WITHOUT the @apu.edu). For example, if your APU email address is “[email protected]” your username would be “aperson24.” Your password will be the same as your APU Email password (it is the same password across most APU sites - home.apu.edu, canvas.apu.edu, mail.apu.edu, etc.).

7) Once you have entered your username and password, click the “OK” button. A Windows Security Alert dialogue box may appear once more and ask you to "Confirm" or "Connect." Please select the button,

8) Wait a couple of seconds and the Wi-Fi symbol in the bottom right corner of your screen will turn white. You should now be connected to APUWIFI!
