IMT Scheduled Maintenance

On December 19 (3:00am - 7:00am) IMT will be concluding necessary core network maintenance. We know how valuable the network is to all APU services, so we have tried to schedule this for least impact (after commencement), yet with the strongest validation of restored business function (before the Christmas break).

This scheduled downtime will affect all network services on campus. Because desk phones are connected through the network, desk phones will also be unavailable. The Campus Safety hotline and emergency phones located throughout the campus and in elevators, will be functional.


You can expect the following resources and services to be UNAVAILABLE during this time:


  • New Sign-In’s to APU Gmail and Google Apps (Drive, Docs, Sites, Calendar etc.)

  • APUWIFI, Internet access, and most Network locations

  • Phones, voicemail, and call centers

  • Printing for Faculty/Staff office areas

  • The APU Website (

  • and APU Mobile applications

  • Cloud hosted applications that need APU Sign-In like Canvas, Library Resources,, etc.

  • PeopleSoft Student, Finance, and HR systems, including HR Total Access
