Google Video Chat: Google Video chat, sometimes called Google Hangouts is a great tool for the quick meeting. They’re also automatically created for every Google Calendar event, so scheduling them is easy as well. Media Services also provides webcams and web conferencing systems for hosting Video Chats.

Google Hangouts on Air: Hangouts On Air is designed less for a meeting interface and more for a show or presentation.  Instead of participants who attend the meeting together, you can have up to 15 presenters; all other participants are simply viewers who can observe what is happening.  To host a Hangout On Air, you need a Google+ Account (for us, your APU account), and also need to verify your YouTube account by providing a phone number to Google for purposes of sending a verification code.  Attempting to create a Hangout On Air will walk you through this process. Your presentation is also recorded and posted on your YouTube account after the Hangout. Media Services also provides webcams and web conferencing systems for hosting Video Chats.

Adobe Connect: Adobe Connect is a robust web-conferencing tool, intended for hosting online courses and/or training.  The meeting room lets meeting attendees share computer screens or files, chat, broadcast audio, and video, and participate in interactive online activities.  To take part in a meeting you must have a browser, a copy of Flash® Player 10 or higher, and an Internet connection. Your capabilities in a meeting depend on your assigned role and permissions.  Adobe Connect does have mobile apps available for iOS and Android.
