Introduction
This quick reference guide is designed for anyone who has more than one Gmail or Google Apps account and wants the ability to quickly switch between these accounts in the same browser, Google Chrome. If you are not familiar with signing in to Google Chrome, please see the article “Getting the Most from Google Chrome.” The following steps were documented using a Mac the same process is the same on a Windows based computer.
The Process

Look to the upper right corner in your Chrome browser you will see a box with text in it. Mine reads “APU.” Click on the label
Please note: You will not see “APU” but possibly your name. -
When you click on the label you will see a dropdown similar to the one below. If you have set a profile picture that will be visible. Click Switch Person.

Next you will click on the Add Person option

You will now see the Google Chrome log in screen:

Enter your GMail or Google Apps email address. |

Enter your password. Please note: The IMT Security Office recommends using Pass Phrases that are at least 14 characters in length. Please see security.apu.edu for more information. |

Click the Sign In button |

Providing you enter a correct email address and password you will then see the following dialog box in the right side of your Chrome Browser. Click Ok, got it when you are ready to proceed.

To switch between your GMail or Google Apps account. Click on the label in the upper right hand corner of your browser (See step 1). Click on Switch User and then the user you wish to access:
