Description of Service
IMT provides various levels of support and training for software applications, depending on the needs of the individual customer or department.
There is the basic or “standard image” installed on all APU owned computers, regardless of location and discipline. This standard image includes, but is not limited to, productivity applications such as Microsoft Office and SPSS, multiple web browsers, anti-virus and selected utilities.
Additional software may be added based on discipline and can be coordinated with IMT.
IMT allows students to download and install APU Purchased Software on their personal computers without cost. This software is available through the links provided in previous link.

Faculty and staff computers requiring software beyond the standard image may contact the APU Computer Store.
Students may download EndNote and Symantec Endpoint Protection from the software download article.

Help for the standard image may be found at http://support.apu.edu. Additional help can be coordinated through the IMT Support Desk.
For any training inquiries, please visit training.apu.edu for upcoming classes or to request specific training.
Faculty and staff can install any software that manufacturer’s state will work with institutionally published standards concerning current operating system and network protocols. Any support for such products need to be independent of IMT.
Students are responsible to go to software download article to download and install additional software.
