Departmental Printers and Multi-Function Printers

Description of Service

IMT provides printers and/or multi-function printers for university departments. A multi-function printer will also have a fax machine (upon request) and a scanner that will allow customers to scan documents to email. Please note for fax capability there must be an active telephone line available. Departments are responsible for purchasing paper and toner for these machines. Requesting Service

To request service for a department printer, please contact HP at 1-800-261-0291.  You will need to provide the ID number for the printer which is located on the HP sticker on each printer.  If you are not able to locate this sticker or if you have issues contacting HP for support, please contact the IMT Support Center at 626-815-5050.

Customer Responsibilities

 Customers are responsible to purchase paper and toner cartridges for the printers in their office. Paper is obtained through Central Receiving’s Paper and Supply Order form and toner cartridges may be purchased by submitting a work order through the IMT Support Center.
