Print or digital design tool for brochures, flyers, magazines, newsletters, posters, or annual reports. It is a user friendly, web-based design tool focusing on the ease of organizing and designing display layouts of text images and videos. LucidPress also integrates seamlessly with Google Drive, and Google Docs. It can be used as a replacement for Adobe InDesign. LucidPress is free for faculty and staff!
How to access LucidPress
From your Google Drive page, click on the “New” found on the top left side under the APU Logo. Scroll down to the very bottom and click “More” and then “Connect More Apps”. In the new window that comes up, search for “LucidPress” and click “Connect”.

Best Practices
- For ease of access, create new LucidPress documents from Google Drive instead of LucidPress web page.
- Automated backup/restore to Google Drive is available. Please follow these instructions.
- Select "Account" on the LucidPress home screen
- Click "Backup/Restore"
- Select options
